Here Today Gone Tomorrow

Immersive Gallery Installation

A collaboration between Zuzu Perkal & Public Canvas, this immersive, artist-led takeover of a soon to be demolished duplex featured 50+ artists, a BIPOC marketplace by OFCOLOR and over 4,000 visitors during EAST 2022. Featured in the Austin Chronicle, the event raised $10,000 for Blackland Community Development Corporation, an affordable housing non-profit in the neighborhood.

The 100 Murals Initiative

Community Art

We believe Austin should be a vibrantly visual landscape that reflects our city’s creative roots. Public Canvas brings artists, businesses, property owners, and lovers of public art together with the goal of creating 100 new murals across all Austin’s 10 council districts. Artists are continually asked to donate their time and talent to beautify our city, that can take away from paid work. Our support & partnership allows artists to realize these public projects for the betterment of the community and expanding creative energy.
